Moon for a Gemstar

Just another day under the scorching May sun. Difficult to beat, almost impossible to evade.
Nights are warm, my bed runs to bite my back. Almost as if U2 plays, 'With or Without you'.
'On a bed of nails,
she makes me wait'
Just a little swap of genders, and this comes true. Quantum Mechanics makes no difference, air-conditioning or unconditioned air.
Here I feel like a princess, wandering in an eternal wait of my warrior to light up my palace. Virtually, I am spending days in a palace. It is a 2 bedroom flat, complete with a refrigerator, aquagaurd, geyser and air-cooler. I have an air-conditioned workplace, a new email id and eat a generous amout of good food, if that helps.
Evenings are specially killing, dark and green all around. All quiet except for some lovelorn insects, crying out for their mates. Daytimes are all green, white on a golden backdrop.
There is nothing that I can do to paint my nights here.

Moral of the Story: Carry your love in your Vanity bag, it comes handy.
